Directions for getting to the Departamento de Astronomía y Astrofísica of P. Universidad Católica:

By taxi: tell the driver to go to Universidad Catolica, Campus San Joaquin, Vicuña Mackenna 4860, Macul (metro station "San Joaquín"). You can can ask the driver to drop you off at the front of the department (see below).

By Metro (subway): the campus is right by the metro station "San Joaquin" on line 5. If you come from Las Condes or Providencia, take the red metro line (line 1) towards the west. Change to the green line (line 5) at the "Baquedano" station by going down one level. Then take the metro towards "Bellavista de La Florida"; the "San Joaquín" station is the 8th from Baquedano. The metro fare varies depending on the time of the day. Please be careful not to go to the "Universidad Catolica" station on line 1; that is where the central campus is, but it's not where we are.

Finding the astronomy department in the campus: from the main entrance of the University, where the Jesus Christ statue is, head towards the end of the drive where a modern church lies. At the T junction, turn right and go another 100 metres until you see the building of the Astronomy and Astrophysics Department (Astronomía y Astrofísica). See the campus map linked above.
