In this talk I will present the project MASGOMAS (MAssive Stars in Galactic Obscured MAssive clusterS), dedicated to the search of massive stellar cluster and the characterization of its massive stellar population. The first part of our program had been dedicated to complete a near-IR characterization of the stellar population of three previously known cluster candidates: G61.48+0.09 (Marín-Franch et al., 2009), NGC 7538 (Puga et al., 2010) and Sh2-152 (Ramírez Alegría et al., 2011).
With the work developed in the first part, we have defined near-IR criteria for the search of the cluster early stellar population. This criteria are clue for the second part of our program, which is being dedicated to the systematic search of massive cluster candidates, in the disc of our Galaxy. The first candidates are presented in this talk.
