Strong gravitational lensing has become an important tool in the detection of faint and high-redshift galaxies. By combining the predictions of a semianalytical model of galaxy formation together with the results of the Millennium simulation, we have computed the effect of gravitational lensing in MOCK images. In this talk I will describe how we use light-cones to produce MOCK images and present first results in two different approaches: 1) galaxy-galaxy lensing as a tool to detect dust-obscured high-redshift galaxies and 2) the way substructures affect lensing properties of Galaxy Clusters.
