The Births and Deaths of Galaxies: Clues from Globular Clusters (Michael West, ESO-Chile)

Globular clusters have long played a key role in astronomers' quest to understand the origin and evolution of galaxies. In this talk, I will show how studies of intergalactic globular clusters and the globular cluster populations of fossil group galaxies can provide new insights into the tumultuous lives of galaxies.
