MAXI J0637-430 showed at least 1 rebrightening during the decay (Baglio2020). The true quiescent magnitudes are unknown but the system is not detected by LCO and Faulkes since MJD58999 (Johar2020). Lower limits of the quiescent magnitudes are shown for completeness. From the state-transition luminosity and the inner edge of the accretion flow in X-rays, Jana2021 estimate the mass of the black hole to be in the range of 5 - 12 M☉, assuming the distance is <10 kpc. |
